Daingerfield Junior High students recently celebrated Earth Day by planting a tree on their campus. Robert Grant, Morris County Master Gardener (left) taught the students the importance of Earth Day, littering, recycling and reusing. The presentation was coordinated by the ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) Program, which provides children with meaningful after school activities. ACE is a Texas Education Agency grant program that is administered through ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.
