ALAS of Texas gives $7,500 for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ scholarships

Amigos Latinos Al Servicios (ALAS) of Texas recently presented a check for $7,500 to the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation. The funds were raised at the second annual Cinco de Mayo on the Square event that was held in Mount Pleasant this year and will provide scholarships for local students attending ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. ALAS is a volunteer group of Latino professionals in Titus County with a vision to empower, promote, advocate and help identify the needs of the growing Hispanic community in Mount Pleasant and surrounding areas.
