ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Art Department to host quilt exhibit

quilt examples

Quilts by local quilters hang in the Whatley Center foyer in what is now an annual tradition for the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ art department.  For the fourth consecutive year, quilters bring their treasured art to share with the community. The exhibit runs from Wednesday, Nov. 6 through Monday, Nov. 25. A reception is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer, and refreshments will be served.

Last year, quilters from the local Five Points Quilters, individuals and ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ faculty/staff members brought 28 quilts for this exhibit.

β€œIt is always a great pleasure to share the beauty and skill of our local quilters in the Whatley Center foyer,” Debbie Strong, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Associate Professor of Art, said.

The public is invited to view the exhibit during regular business hours, but please call ahead to 903-434-8181 to ensure the gallery is open.
