Business Club gives scholarship

business club gift group

Members of the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Business Club recently presented a check for $500 to the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation. The donation will provide a business student with a scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year. This is the second year the Business Club has given a scholarship. Club members raise funds by participating in various events on campus and selling chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine’s Day. This is one of only a few student-led scholarships at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅. Pictured at the donation (from left) is: Dr. Ron Clinton, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ President, Heidi Wooten, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Division Chair for Business and Technology, Alicia Mauldin, Maria Gonzalez, Linsey Harwell, Instructor of Business Administration, Krystal Edwards, Lauren Bearden, Karen Andrews, Instructor of Business Administration, Samantha Lara, Todd Allen, Brooklynn Powell, Tasha Gaspar, and Dr. Kevin Rose, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Vice President for Instruction. In addition to donating this scholarship, the Business Club will also host a free community Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 at 10 a.m. on the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Campus. Ages 0-12 are welcome to participate.
