For the fifteenth-straight year in a row, Cypress Bank has presented a high-end laptop for the use of ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ honors students. This yearβs Cypress Bank Scholar is the 2022 Hughes Springs Salutatorian, Sydney Annelle Carey. She is the daughter of Danny and Trisha Carey of Hughes Springs. Sydney was a member of the business association, DECA and competed at the state level three times. In April of 2022, the Honors Committee at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ voted to offer her a Presidential Scholarship, an upper-tier honors award bestowed to ten students at the college each academic year.
Cypress Bank Vice President, Josh Cato, presented Carey with this gift (above). CypressBank has five locations: two are in Mount Pleasant with the main bank in Pittsburg. The two other branches are in Lone Star, and Commerce.
