You've probably heard ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ's tagline "Start here, go anywhere" - and it's true! We frequently hear stories about the great things our alumni are up to in our community and in the world beyond. A few of our former students have recently made national headlines. These are just a couple of examples of how ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles are making a difference in the world!

Courtney Baldwin, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Class of August 2022

Courtney was a Presidential Scholar in Honors Northeast who won a variety of awards and scholarships during her time at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. She recently spoke on the stage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago where she discussed her own experience as a victim of human trafficking as a young girl. 


Colleen Hoover, Former ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Student

Bestselling author has become a household name in recent years. She is a prolific writer who has sold around 20 million copies of her books worldwide. Hoover recently made headlines after her book It Ends With Us was adapted for the big screen. The film stars Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni (also directing), Brandon Skelnar and Jenny Slate. Some may not know that Hoover grew up in Saltillo, Texas and attended ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ before transferring to Texas A&M University-Commerce, where she later graduated.
