The Student Services team at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ was pleased to host a Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 30th in collaboration with Texas A&M University-Texarkana. Scholarships for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ students who have applied and been accepted to attend TAMU-T were awarded on the recommendation of their ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ College Navigator. ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ College Navigators chose students from their assigned cohorts who they had worked closely with to assist in the pursuit of their Associates Degree while at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.
"We are very grateful to Texas A&M-Texarkana for providing these scholarships and giving our team the opportunity to select the winners. In Student Services we work closely with students and often see their needs first-hand, so it was rewarding to be able to give them some extra help as they continue their education," Sheila Eddy, Associate Director of Academic Advising, said.
