Christi Denney honors memory of sister, Nita DeWoody, with ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ scholarship

Nothing prepared Christi Denney for the loss of her beloved sister, Nita DeWoody, in October 2016. However, In the midst of her grief, Denney became determined to do something good to carry on her sister?s memory. With that goal in mind, she organized a charity 5K race that was held in October 2017 in Pittsburg.

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation is now accepting applications for International Sulphur Transfer Scholarships. There are five of these $1,000 scholarships available to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Do you have a minimum GPA of 3.0

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2018-2019 academic year. Applications are available online at or can be picked up from Lori Hunter?s office in the Student Services Center (former Administration Building). The priority deadline for scholarships is March 19, 2018.
