CIS of Northeast Texas holds back-to-school training

Did you know that Communities In Schools (CIS) of Northeast Texas serves students on 40 campuses in 13 school districts and nine counties? Administered by ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅, CIS has 44 employees on staff that provide services to students to help overcome barriers to their success. Four ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ students win PTK's four highest Texas Star Regional Scholarships

Members of Alpha Mu Chi, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣơ’s five-star, award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, won 4 of 13 prestigious Texas Star regional scholarships given out at the 2024 Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute held July 26-28 at Texas Women’s University in Denton. The scholarships are available to members of Phi Theta Kappa throughout the state of Texas, with awards based on demonstrated leadership and academic excellence. ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ students won the top four spots in the state.

PTK members attend Texas Honors Institute at Texas Women’s University

Eight members of Alpha Mu Chi, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣơ’s five-star, award winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, attended the Phi Theta Kappa Texas Honors Institute July 26 - 28 on the campus of Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas.  During the conference attendees stayed in dorms on the TWU campus and ate in the campus dining hall.  All sessions were held on the beautiful tree-filled campus.
