The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles Rodeo season came to a close last weekend as three athletes competed at the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in Casper, Wyoming. Sadie Johnson finished 16th in the nation in goat tying and Kyler Bramhall and Zack Bocco took 19th overall in team roping. Bocco also placed 40th in steer wrestling.†Wacey Hathcock, who was slated to compete for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ in the saddle bronc riding, was unable to compete due to an injury the week before the rodeo.†

"Although none of our athletes made it to the short round, we still had three of them in the top 20 in the nation," CJ Mohl, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ head rodeo coach, said. "I†am very proud of our kids. Making it to the college national finals and finishing in the top 20 in the nation is a huge accomplishment for them personally as well as for the rodeo program at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ."

The CNFR marked Mohl's final event as ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ head coach. He has resigned his position to start his own business.†

"I believe ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is one of the best programs in the nation and will continue to be in the future. We had a great finals and I will truly miss being involved with the program and our student athletes," Mohl said. "I will miss ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, but will definitely be the Eagle rodeo team's biggest fan and will continue to support them anyway I can."
