Staff hosts reception for Dr. Josh Stewart

Dr. Josh Stewart, Vice President for Student and Outreach Services, addressed approximately 60 staff members of the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Outreach Services Department at a recent reception held in his honor.††Staff from the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Outreach Department, Adult Education, Communities In Schools and Upward Bound programs hosted the event for Dr. Stewart at Region 8 Education Service Center.††A light buffet was served as staff and guests introduced themselves.

Greetings were brought by Melody Henry, Associate Dean of Outreach Services.††Sue Barker, Director of Adult Education introduced staff, along with Laura Lambert, Director of Communities In Schools and Cynthia Linseisen, Associate Director of Upward Bound.

Dr. John McCullough, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Vice President for Advancement, and Alan Carter, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Professor of Accounting also addressed the group.

Dr. Stewart began his new position on February 1, 2016.††The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Outreach Services Department provides services to families, children and adults throughout the Northeast Texas area to increase access to higher education, through dropout prevention services, college readiness services and GED and ESL classes for adults.
