ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ receives $53,000 in matching funds for Work Scholarship Program

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ recently received a check for $53,000 in scholarships from the U.S. Department of Education. Nita May (left), ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Director of Development, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Executive Vice President for Advancement are pictured receiving the gift. This grant was awarded as matching funds for gifts received for the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Work Scholarship Program. Around 100 donors have given more than $85,000 this year to support the innovative program that allows students to work in the summer to prepay for their college education. This summer marks the fifth year of the program and 64 students are currently working on the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus. The program is funded exclusively from private donations and grants.
