Doctors Jim and Paula Archer (right) recently presented Nita May (left), ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Director of Development, with a check for $2,000 for East Texas Giving Day (ETGD). The amount will be matched at 50% by the IBM employer giving program to bring their total contribution to $3,000. Additional matching opportunities through ETGD and grants will bring the total impact of the donation to $6,000. The Archer’s gift will support ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Honors, the Jim and Paula Archer Science Scholarship and the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation is participating in ETGD, which is scheduled for April 28. However, donations are currently being accepted online at or by contacting May at 903-434-8113 or nmay@ntcc.edu.
