millers making donation

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation recently received a $15,000 donation from Weldon and Jo Ann Miller of Mount Pleasant. Additionally, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ received a $10,000 donation from Guaranty Bancshares, Inc. in honor of Weldon Miller for his many years of dedicated service to Guaranty Bank & Trust and Guaranty Bancshares, Inc.

Combined, the funds will be used to create an endowed scholarship in the Work4College Program at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅.  An additional grant opportunity procured by the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation will result in the endowed scholarship money being matched dollar-for-dollar for a total scholarship impact of $50,000.

β€œWe are so grateful to the Millers and Guaranty Bancshares for this very impactful gift. As an endowment, this scholarship fund will continue to help students for many, many years to come,” Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Executive Vice President for Advancement, said.

The Work4College Program is currently accepting applications for Summer 2020. If you know students who could benefit from participating, please have them visit  for more information or to get an application.  The deadline to apply is April 15.
