Pick your own muscadines at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ farm

students picking muscadines

It is muscadine harvesting time at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Farm! The farm crew has been picking as many as they can and the vines are still loaded! Everyone is welcome to come out to the college farm vineyard and harvest some for their own jelly making or wine making. The farm has 10 different varieties of muscadine - purple or gold! The cost is $5 a gallon to pick and they have a limited number of picked/frozen muscadines for $10 a gallon. According to René McCracken, Ag Director, a regular grocery bag full is enough to make a small batch of jelly.

Please contact René McCracken at rmccracken@ntcc.edu or 903-434-8267 to make an appointment to pick. Follow the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Ag Department on Facebook or visit to stay up-to-date with all of the exciting things happening at the farm!
