The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Vet Assistant program recently celebrated its first graduating class on Thursday, August 29th, 2024. Fifteen new students recently graduated from the program. Becoming a veterinary assistant is no small feat. It requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, emotional resilience, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. These graduates have navigated rigorous coursework, hands-on training, and real-world experiences, emerging as skilled professionals ready to make a difference in the veterinary community. Jimmy Smith, Director of Continuing Education and Corporate Training, states, “Our Veterinary Assistant graduates are entering a growing job market with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. The demand for qualified veterinary professionals continues to rise, and these students are well-prepared to step into their careers and make an immediate impact.â€
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Vet Assistant program will continue to equip its students with the skills and guidance needed to be successful in the future of veterinary care.
