The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Continuing Education Department is getting ready to host a new class for its Phlebotomy Technician Program this fall. The eight-week course begins on October 22nd. Classes are hybrid, which means there is an online course component as well as face-to-face classes on the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus.
The certificate program consists of 146 contact hours of lecture, lab and clinical training for students to become technicians. Upon successful completion of the Phlebotomy Technician Program, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to sit for the national certification exam through the National Health Career Association.
The cost for the program is $750 for the class only and $1,000 for the class plus on-site clinical. Limited financial aid may be available for eligible students. For more information call 903-434-8350 or e-mail continuinged@ntcc.edu.
