ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ baseball loses third game in series against PJC

After sweeping Paris Junior College (22-25, 7-16) in a doubleheader last Saturday, the Dragons came back to defeat the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ baseball team (15-24, 8-15) 5-1 on Monday.

Tyler Navarro (University of Central Arkansas) took the loss for the Eagles. Navarro surrendered five runs on two hits over three innings, striking out five. 

ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ outhit the Dragons nine to three, but three errors and seven walks on the day were costly for the Eagles in the loss to Paris.

John Michael Russ and Brian Juarez each racked up multiple hits for ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅. Russ went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ in hits.

Hayden Shaddox, Hunter Riley, and Sawyer Smallwood saw action on the mound in relief of Navarro in Monday’s action.
