ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Softball breaks winning streak against North Central
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles (ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ) softball team dropped†both games of†a double header against North Central Texas College on Wednesday. The losses broke a six-game winning streak for the Eagles.
Sophomore infielder Alizabeth Autrey scored the first run of the game after an error by North Central?s third baseman. Neither team scored again until the bottom of the fourth when Kelsey Moulder hit a solo home run for the Eagles.
Eagles Baseball pick up a win over the weekend
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ (ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ) Eagles baseball team hosted a nine-game tournament this weekend with four teams from Texas, Kansas and Louisiana battling it out over three days. The highlight of the weekend for the Eagles was Sunday night when freshman pitcher Tim Winders led ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ to a convincing 11-3 victory against the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers jumped on the board first with one run in the second inning, but the Eagles took a commanding lead in the third, scoring seven runs.
Eagles softball sweeps Angelina College
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles softball team added another two notches to their belt Monday afternoon, sweeping Angelina College by scores of 9-3 in the first game and 10-4 in the second.
Freshman pitcher Hailey Dixon led ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ to their first win of the day. Angelina college scored the first two runs of the game in the fourth inning and held the Eagles at bay until the sixth, when ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ scored five runs.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Rodeo kicks off spring season
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ (ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ) Rodeo Team competed in the first rodeo of the spring season February 7 and 8 at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens.†The Rodeo Team had a very successful showing, with four students placing in individual events allowing the team get closer to its goal of sending representatives to the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) in June.†â€

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ rodeo team hosted their annual rodeo at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Arena from Thursday, Oct. 10 through Saturday, Oct. 12. Along with hosting the rodeo, members of both the men?s and the women?s teams participated and placed in several events.

Eagles Baseball Update
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles baseball team picked up a pair of big road wins Wednesday, downing the Paris Junior College Dragons in Paris, 6-5 and 1-0. The wins helped the Eagles improve to 15-28 overall this season and 9-19 in conference play.
The Eagles broke open a scoreless game in the third inning of Game One Wednesday, scoring five runs in the frame en route to a 6-5 victory.
Consecutive singles by Mason Mantle, Hayden Martin and James Lacy loaded the bases with no outs for the Eagles in the top of the third before Matt Durst brought in the game?s first run with an RBI single.
