McCullough, Thurman honored by Mt. Pleasant-Titus County Chamber

«Ƶ would like to congratulate two of its own for being recognized by their community at the Mount Pleasant-Titus County Chamber of Commerce banquet on Thursday, Jan. 25th. Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Executive Vice President for Advancement, was named Citizen of the Year. Stephanie Thurman, who holds Place Five on the «Ƶ Board of Trustees, was honored with Business of the Year for Thurman's Pro-Med Pharmacy.

«Ƶ Board holds January meeting

The «Ƶ Board of Trustees met for its regular January meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 30th. In the President’s Report, Dr. Ron Clinton stated that preliminary enrollment numbers show a 2.8% increase in headcount and a 4.4% increase in semester hours for the spring 2024 semester.

“While our new funding model doesn’t primarily focus on enrollment growth, it is a good indication that students are returning and numbers are nearing what they were before the pandemic,” Clinton said.
