Representatives from colleges in the district, including Tyler Junior College, Paris Junior College, Kilgore College, McClennan Community College, Trinity Valley Community College, and others, attended the event in-person or via zoom.

business club presents scholarship to president

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Business Club worked tirelessly over the fall and spring semesters to raise funds to support the needs of college students and others in the surrounding community. As a result of those efforts, the club recently made donations to three great causes.

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Baseball team hit the road Thursday for a single game against the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers to open the three-game series. BPCC would defeat the Eagles 5-2 to earn the opening game win.

Jalyn English, a Presidential scholar at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅, has been named a 2021 Coca-Cola Academic Team Gold Scholar and will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

Expertise has its own rewards, and in the case of history essays at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅, the reward might be something greater than an β€˜A’.  For the sixth year, history at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ will feature the Bonnie Spencer Awards for the best two research papers in non-honors classes.  The first-place winner will receive $100, and the second place, $50.  There will be an optional Honorable Mention Prize.
