The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Baseball team finally got on the field after a few weather-related cancellations on Sunday afternoon, traveling to Mena, Arkansas to take on Arkansas Rich Mountain Community College. The Eagles picked up two big wins to open the season taking down Rich Mountain 8-4 in game one and 12-2 in game two. After falling behind 1-0 after two innings, the Eagles offense got going in the third inning scoring three runs in the third and three runs in the fourth to jump ahead 6-1...

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Board of Trustees held its regular January meeting later than usual on Tuesday, Feb. 7th. The meeting was delayed due to scheduling conflicts. All seven board members were present. Dr. Ron Clinton, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ President, announced that spring enrollment is tracking flat after the census date. Numbers are very similar to last spring, with about a .5% decrease in head count and 2.1% increase in contact hours.

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Rodeo team will travel to Sulphur Springs, Texas on February 3-4 for the Texas A&M University-Commerce Rodeo at the Hopkins County Civic Center.

Diwali display

Phi Theta Kappa Alpha Mu Chi Chapter members recently submitted the final works for their College Project.  The college project focused on sharing diversity around campus. The Alpha Mu Chi chapter decided to team up with our institution’s administration to implement motions to advocate diversity on campus.

This week's installment of Meet the Coaches brings us to Assistant Baseball Coach Connor Anderson: Connor is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University where he also served as an assistant coach upon his graduation. Coach Anderson came to ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ from TCS Post Grad Academy in McKinney, Texas.

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Eagle Softball team started the Spring Season off by traveling to Marshall, Texas to scrimmage East Texas Baptist University on Friday. The scrimmage was moved up from Saturday to Friday to try to beat the weather.
