ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅'s Alpha Mu Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will host an exciting Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre event on Tuesday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer.
ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Baseball will host the Eagle Classic this coming weekend, February 18-19. The Eagles will host Alvin Community College, Galveston College, and Grayson College for the weekend of games at Eagle Field at Bob Baker Stadium on the campus of ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅.

Honors Northeast is now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year. 1 March is the deadline for obtaining an optimal scholarship. The program confers institutional and private scholarships, as well as many other amenities. Over half of the students in the program earn as they learn. Scholarships outrace the costs of matriculation.
Each year, the international honor society of community colleges, Phi Theta Kappa, selects leading community college students across the state to be part of an All-Texas Academic Team. This group, in turn, receives special consideration for possible entry into an All USA Academic Team. This year, Aaliyah Avellaneda, and John Rodriguez, two Presidential Scholars, and members of ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅βs award-winning chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Mu Chi, received this honor from ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅.
The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation recently received a $5,000 gift from Gateway Bronco. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for students in ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅βs Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program. The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ will host a concert by Forever Motown on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. This is a full stage production of your favorite hit songs from all the Motown Legends.
Alpha Mu Chi, a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅, recently completed a yearlong Honors in Action project. βFinally Free: Folklore Becomes Legacyβ is half-hour documentary featuring the voices, stories, and legacies of our African American community members. ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Baseball kicked off the 2022 spring season with a double header against Grayson College on the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Campus on Monday. ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ and Grayson would split the series with the Eagles taking game one 5-3 and Grayson winning the second game 9-2.
In game one, Grayson would take a 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning after a lead off single, followed up by another single, double and one last single to plate two runs and take a lead.
