Summer Shout Out: Dr. Jonathan McCullough & Team

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is pleased to announce that Dr. Jonathan McCullough (Executive Vice President For Advancement) and the development team have been nominated for this week’s Summer Shout Out. Dr. McCullough and his staff raise funds for the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation and award scholarships and other assistance to students in need (along with many other duties).

Congratulations, Dr. McCullough, Lori Hunter and Nita May! We appreciate all that you do to support the mission of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.

Did you know that ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ now has a virtual tour? Prospective students and community members can get a 360look at the campus without leaving home. In addition to a guided tour, there are separate virtual experiences for the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program, Community Room (UHS), Cosmetology Program, Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Ag Center, Fitness Center, Funeral Services Program, Health Science Simulation Lab and Whatley Center. We plan to add more virtual tours in the near future.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is pleased to announce that it is a partner institution with the scholarship program. Better Futures was created to provide Pilgrim’s team members and their child dependents the opportunity to pursue their higher education dreams for associate degrees and trade certificates at community and technical colleges tuition free.

College closed Monday for Independence Day

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day. We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, July 6. We hope everyone has a great time celebrating the holiday safely with family and friends.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ farmer's market to return July 2

  • Farmer's Market dates are July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
  • Events begin at 9 a.m. and last until sellout.
  • At noon there will be an Innovative Farmer Tips class.
  • In addition to produce, plants and canned items grown on the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ farm, outside vendors are also welcome. 
  • The Ag Club will sell grilled chicken sandwiches for $5 each.
