Jordan Chapin, a student at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ serving as the Texas Regional President of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, spoke at the opening plenary session at this yearβs Community College Association of Texas Trustees meeting in Houston.

If so, a career in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) might be a good option for you - and there has never been a better time to get started. The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ EMS Program is part of a special initiative offering up to a full scholarship for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic and Paramedic students who qualify for entry into the program. Current EMTs who would like to transition to the Paramedic program are also eligible for scholarships.

ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ hosted the first EagleGanza event of the summer this Tuesday. Anyone planning to attend ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ for the first time in fall 2022 is highly encouraged to attend one of the three remaining dates!
The 2022 Kids Discovery College kicked off this week with more than 100 children participating. The two-week camp offers over a dozen fun and educational classes designed for kids ages 8-16. Class topics vary from cooking and theatre to first responder academy.
Students interested in social work and sociology classes at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ are invited to attend an informational session on Thursday, July 21 from 1-2 p.m. in IA 105.

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Career and Transfer Team will host a FAFSA Day event on Tuesday, July 19. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in BT 111. Staff will be available to assist students with completing their FAFSA application, so please bring parent(s) and student 2020 W2s and tax returns.
This is a great opportunity to get help with your FAFSA in plenty of time for the fall semester!
