The ��«����Ƶ Foundation will host its annual Distinguished Lecture Series event on†Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.†at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.†This year's lecture will be presented by New York Times bestselling author Laura Schroff.†

The ��«����Ƶ Foundation recently held its annual golf tournament at Daingerfield Country Club in Daingerfield. This was the 27^th†consecutive year of the tournament. This year?s winning team (pictured) was†Daingerfield Country Club with a score of 19 under.

Beverly Kelley recently gave $1,000 to sponsor a student in the ��«����Ƶ Work Scholarship Program. Jackie Baker of Mount Pleasant recently gave $10,000 †to ��«����Ƶ in order to create an endowed scholarship for the Eagles baseball program. The donation is in memory of her late husband, Bob Baker, who was a long-time ��«����Ƶ board member and was very influential in starting the Eagles baseball program.
