The Lady Eagles soccer team faced off against the 13th ranked Navarro for the second time in a region game Tuesday. Navarro came out strong and found the back of the net in the 4th minute giving them a 1-0 lead. The Lady Eagles were able to uphold the pressure and keep the score at 1-0. In the 25th minute††was able to capitalize on a penalty kick and even the score.
American National Bank recently gave $30,000 to fund the completion of the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles fieldhouse. The new American National Bank Fieldhouse will be completed by spring 2015. The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ (ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ) Men?s Eagles Soccer team advanced in the Region 14 tournament this week in dramatic fashion.†The Eagles won their first round playoff game against Laredo Community College Friday, but it took two overtimes and a penalty shoot-out to get it done! The Eagles now advance to the final round of the Region 14 tournament this Friday when they face off against Pearl River Community College at 2:00 p.m. at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ (ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ) rodeo team has five members ranked in the 2014-2015 Southern Region standings after their second rodeo of the season. The team hopes to improve its place in the standings after this weekend's home rodeo at the Mount Pleasant City Arena.
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ (ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ) Men?s Eagles Soccer team won†four†of†four†games this week., shutting out†Jacksonville College,†Paris Junior†College†and Coastal Bend College, while giving up only one goal to Laredo Community College. The Eagles are†now†ranked†fifth†in the nation according to the National Junior College Athletic Association coaches poll this week.
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles Softball program will host an Alumni Game on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Eagle Field. All ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Softball alumni are invited to come enjoy friendly competition and fellowship with the current team and coaching staff.
