Business Club presents scholarships

Members of the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Business Club recently presented two $500 checks to the ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation. The donation will provide two business students with a scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. This is the fourth year the Business Club has given scholarships. Club members raise funds by participating in various events on campus and selling chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine’s Day. This is one of only a few student-led scholarships at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅. They are pictured presenting the checks.

Business Club delivers Easter baskets to local Head Start programs

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Business Club helped students in two area Head Start programs celebrate Easter this week. Students and faculty members, accompanied by the Easter Bunny, delivered Easter baskets filled with goodies to kids at Pittsburg ISD and Pewitt CISD. Business Club students purchased items for the baskets with funds raised throughout the year, assembled the baskets and delivered them on Wednesday. While they primarily raise money to provide scholarships for members, the club relegates a portion of their annual proceeds to a community service project like this one.
