The ��«����Ƶ Business Club recently had the opportunity to see business principles at work in the real world on a travel study trip to Boston.

Members of the ��«����Ƶ Business Club recently presented two $500 checks to the ��«����Ƶ Foundation. The donation will provide two business students with a scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. This is the fourth year the Business Club has given scholarships. Club members raise funds by participating in various events on campus and selling chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine’s Day. This is one of only a few student-led scholarships at ��«����Ƶ. They are pictured presenting the checks.

The ��«����Ƶ Business Club helped students in two area Head Start programs celebrate Easter this week. Students and faculty members, accompanied by the Easter Bunny, delivered Easter baskets filled with goodies to kids at Pittsburg ISD and Pewitt CISD. Business Club students purchased items for the baskets with funds raised throughout the year, assembled the baskets and delivered them on Wednesday. While they primarily raise money to provide scholarships for members, the club relegates a portion of their annual proceeds to a community service project like this one.

The ��«����Ƶ Business Club will host its 2nd annual Easter egg hunt on April 9th at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to ages 0-12. More than 6,000 eggs will be hidden! For more information, call 903-434-8129 or 903-434-8224. 

The ��«����Ƶ Business Club is selling raffle tickets for a beautiful, patriotic wreath (pictured). Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Proceeds will help fund various community projects and scholarships. The wreath is on display in the BT Building.

The ��«����Ƶ Business Club is pleased to announce that they will host a very special guest on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Student Union Building. Santa himself will be in attendance to take pictures with your little ones! They will even have a chance to make a keepsake ornament with Santa's elves. Mark your calendar, because you won't want to miss this fun opportunity.
