The Northeast Texas Community College Continuing Education Department will host its Kids Discovery College July 12-22 (Monday-Thursday). They are pleased to announce that classes will be offered face-to-face on the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus with extra COVID-19 safety measures in place. Classes are open to kids ages 8-16.

The 2020 ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Honors Northeast/Webb Society film on Bo Pilgrim, the great chicken magnate of Northeast Texas, is now available to the public. The Northeast Texas Community Foundation recently received a check for $3,000 from Drs. Jim and Paula Archer. Jim Archer is pictured (left) presenting the gift to Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Executive Vice President for Advancement.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Business Club is selling raffle tickets for a beautiful, patriotic wreath (pictured). Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Proceeds will help fund various community projects and scholarships. The wreath is on display in the BT Building.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Adult Education and Literacy program will hold its General Education Development (GED) commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 7 p.m. at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. All students who have completed the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ GED program during the past year will be honored. Due to COVID restrictions, guest attendance will be limited. Live streaming will be available for family and friends who are unable to attend in person.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Baseball team hit the road Thursday for a single game against the Bossier Parish Community College Cavaliers to open the three-game series. BPCC would defeat the Eagles 5-2 to earn the opening game win.
