ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ and Navarro College met up on the diamond at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ on Saturday after rains early in the week forced some changes to the schedule. ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ would defeat Navarro 9-5 before falling 17-5 in game two.

The blood drive bus will be located in the parking lot at the edge of the sidewalk by the Student Union Building from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
PTK Catalyst, Phi Theta Kappa’s international convention, was open as a virtual streaming event this year on April 8-10, including six general sessions, educational forums, and virtual booth explorations for career and college transfers. Aside from amazing keynote speakers, such as those featured this year including, Platon, a world-recognized photographer, and Heather McGowan, Future of Work Strategist, chapters look forward to the Hallmark Awards, which recognize chapters, advisors, college leaders, and members throughout Phi Theta Kappa’
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will host a concert by The East Texas Men In Harmony (ETMIH) on Saturday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited due to social distancing protocols.
Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery recently presented the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation with a check for $10,500. The gift provided $10,000 to establish the Russell-Mowery Perpetual Honors Scholarship and $500 for current honors scholarships. The Mowerys are pictured presenting the gift to Dr.
ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, in partnership with the Mount Pleasant Economic Development Corporation (MPEDC), will host a Career and Training Expo on Friday, April 23. The event will be held at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s Industrial Technology Training Center (ITTC) in Mount Pleasant (westbound I-30 frontage road east of Lowes) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

The pandemic had a way of delaying initiatives. But the 2020 issue of Touchstone, one of the most venerable undergraduate journals in the United States, finally has appeared in April, 2021. Published by the Texas State Historical Association, Touchstone has appeared continuously since 1982 in real form, and since the 1990s on high-quality cotton-stock paper, designed to last.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Rodeo team put on a Rodeo for Titus County Elementary school children on Tuesday, April 6th. The student athletes from the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Rodeo team held the event at the Mount Pleasant Priefert Arena located at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association complex on Greenhill Road.
