Reception held to honor quilters

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Art Department hosted a reception on Wednesday, Nov. 30th to celebrate local quilters who displayed their work in this year's quilt exhibit in the Whatley Center foyer. For the seventh year, quilters brought their treasured art to share with the community. Three students complete Professional Driving Academy

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Three new students recently graduated from the program. Ag Program hosts Harvest Local workshop and tours

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Agriculture Department held a Harvest Local Workshop and Tour on Wednesday, Nov. 29th. Students from the Small Farming course served as guides and instructors to teach visitors about a variety of topics relevant to small farming in East Texas. 

This served as their final project for the fall semester. Faculty, staff and community members were invited to attend. In addition to viewing student projects, guests were also given tours of the college farm.
