Jerry and Susan Massey give $1,300 to Whatley Campaign

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ receives $25,000 from Carroll Shelby Foundation

Dr. Brad Johnson (right), President of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Vice President for Advancement, are pictured holding a $25,000 check the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation recently received from the Carroll Shelby Foundation.† The money will provide scholarships for students in the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Mr. Shelby was a strong supporter of the automotive technology program at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ and, through carefully planned estate giving, he continues to help both the college, and more importantly, †the citizens of our community.

Charlie and Helen Hampton give scholarship

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Helen Hampton (right) recently gave $500 to the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation. Their gift will provide a scholarship to a Morris County student attending ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery give $1,300 to support ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ honors projects

Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery (pictured left) recently gave a $1,300 gift to the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation. The funds will be used for the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Whatley Employee Enhancement Fund, specifically for the Honors program to help with their production of a film based on the life of Harriet Potter Ames, the Feminist Legend of the American Revolution, and with the Presidential Scholars Program for their research and documentation of the Caddo Collection owned by ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.

Jennifer Harland, Manager Of External Affairs, Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas, AEP Southwestern Electric Power Company, recently presented a $1,000 check to Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Vice President for Advancement, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. The funds will be used to benefit the Final Curtain Call portion if the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation's Campaign for the Whatley. Daingerfield Country Club wins ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation golf tourney

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation recently held its annual golf tournament at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. This was the 26th†consecutive year of the tournament. Participating teams included: AEP/Swepco, American National Bank, Daingerfield Country Club, Bowie-Cass, Cypress Bank, Guaranty Bond Bank, Luminant, Northeast Texas Credit Union, Texas Heritage National Bank, and an ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ team sponsored by East Texas Wealth Planning Advisors.
