Softball splits against Hill College

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ traveled to Hillsboro, Texas to take on Hill College Wednesday, earning a win in game one 5-4 while Hill College took game two of the series by a score of 4-2.

Emily Cole (Pewitt High School) picked up her first win of the season striking out nine on her way to the 5-4 win. Averie Ayers (Mount Pleasant HS) would get the save in the game one win.

Softball picks up first win

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Softball finished off January with a road trip to San Antonio, Texas for the Alamo City Junior College Showcase tournament. In game one Friday ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ picked up win number one of the season against Southern Arkansas Tech with a 5-1 victory.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Rodeo was back in the saddle last weekend to start off the 2021 semester with a Rodeo hosted by Texas A&M University Commerce. The event was held at the Hopkins County Civic Center in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Garrett Fields was a bright spot for the Eagles with earning a seventh place finish in Steerwrestling.

A&M-Texarkana at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ to host coffee chat with Dr. Miles Young

Texas A&M University-Texarkana at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will host a Coffee Chat (via Zoom) with Dr. Miles Young on Friday, February 5 at 10 a.m. Young, who is the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Director of Dual Credit and Distance Education, will discuss his experiences as a transfer student with A&M-Texarkana and also give advice for future students interested in transferring to A&M-Texarkana.
