NETRAC provides ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ with Stop The Bleed Kits

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ recently received a donation of four Stop The Bleed kits from the Northeast Texas Regional Advisory Council (NETRAC). Each kit contains enough supplies to provide immediate first aid for up to 10 patients in the event of a mass casualty scenario. The kits will be placed in central locations around campus. In addition to the kits, NETRAC also provided training materials to be used in training ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Faculty and Staff on how to respond to bleeding patients.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Physical Therapist Assistant Program celebrates 100 percent pass rate

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program recently learned that all 13 of its December 2018 graduating class passed their professional licensure exam on the first try. Upon graduating with their Associate of Applied Science degree in PTA, graduates are required to sit for the NPTE Board Exam before starting their professional careers.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ receives $91,000 for matching funds

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation recently received $91,000 from the U.S. Department of Education to match contributions to the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ endowment in 2018. These funds are part of the Title V grant, which has money allotted for matching gifts over a five-year period. Richard Perryman gives $7,000 for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Work Scholarship Program

Richard Perryman recently gave $7,000 to support the Work Scholarship Program at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Perryman (right) is pictured presenting the gift to Nita May, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Director of Development. The Work Scholarship Program allows select students the opportunity to work on campus during the summer to earn money to pay for their college education in advance. The program is privately-funded by generous donors, like Perryman.
