The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation recently received a $12,000 grant from an anonymous foundation to sponsor six students in the Work4College Program. An additional matching grant opportunity has effectively doubled the impact, resulting in a $24,000 contribution. This grant will be utilized to expand the reach of the Work4College Program. Filing for Place Four and Place Seven on the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Board of Trustees began on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, and continues through 5 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024. Filing applications are available from elections clerk Jimmy Smith in the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Student Services Building from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays. The deadline for filing an application will be extended to 5:00 p.m.
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is pleased to announce that it has added a special performance by the popular a cappella country music group to its 2024 lineup. The concert will be held on Tuesday, March 26th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ students with ID and children 17 and under.
