The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Eagles baseball and softball teams will host a special Ks for Kids Day at the ballpark on Saturday, Feb. 18.

The day will begin with a free kids camp at 10 a.m., followed by home doubleheaders for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ baseball and softball. In addition to offering a day of fun for the whole family, this event will mark the official kickoff of the Ks for Kids campaign, which will raise funds for the Women and Children's Center at Titus Regional Medical Center.

The Masters of Motown concert that will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, Feb. 16 is sponsored by Cypress Bank. Pictured is B. The†Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will host the Masters of Motown on Thursday, Fe†††b. 16 at 7:30 p.m. This high-energy concert will transport the audience back in time to the glory days of Motown music.†

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will recognize Black History Month with two separate events during February.

The Brother To Brother Organization will host the "Outspoken African American History" program as a way to pay tribute to African American heroes throughout history.

The event will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on February 22 from noon to 1 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie and Helen Hampton of Naples recently gave $20,000 to benefit the Campaign for the Whatley at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Industrial Technology Program recently held a graduation celebration for the first class of students to complete the level 1 certificate in the new program. The Eagles split another double-header Wednesday as they took on Grayson County College in Dennison.

After suffering an 8-0 loss in the opening game of the day, the Eagles bounced back with a 3-2 victory in the second contest.

Christina Martin helped lead ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ to victory in the second game as she was 2-3 at the plate while Katie Holcomb and Hannah Holovach both had a hit and each scored a run in the win.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will present speaker Justin Jones-Fosu for "ACT Responsibly: The Diversity Edition" on Monday, February 20 from noon to 1 p.m. in Student Union Building room 101.
