Pat Wommack contributes to Campaign for the Whatley

Pat Wommack of Lone Star recently gave $1,000 to benefit the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ†Campaign for the Whatley. This gift was made in honor of Mrs. Wommack's daughter-in-law, Kim Wommack, who is a Professor of Art and Division Director for Creative and Performing Arts at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. The goal for the campaign is to raise $750,000 over the next three years to help update the aging performing arts facility.

Free GED/ESL courses offered by ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ

The Adult Education Department at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at various locations throughout the area. Students interested in attending classes must enroll in a 12-hour orientation. The information regarding dates/locations of classes is included below:

Al and Sue Havenstrite chair Campaign for the Whatley

Al and Sue Havenstrite recently agreed to serve as chair of the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ†Campaign for the Whatley. The goal for the campaign is to raise $750,000 over the next three years to enhance the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Guaranty Bond Bank sponsors Cherish the Ladies Christmas

Guaranty Bond Bank recently gave $3,000 to ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ to underwrite the Tuesday, Dec. 13 Cherish the Ladies Christmas concert at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Eleven complete CNA program

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ recently held a ceremony to recognize 11 students who successfully completed the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program.
