The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Physical Therapist Assistant program has started a new academic year with 16 new students. Students recently participated in wheelchair mobility activities including maneuvering wheelchairs on level and unlevel surfaces, in elevators, and on curbs and ramps. Students also learned to measure patients for custom wheelchairs and determine appropriate fit of wheelchairs. The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Physical Therapist Assistant Program here at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is the shortest in the state at 17 months.
