Four graduate from CDL program

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Four new students recently graduated from the program. If you are looking for something fun to do this Saturday, head to downtown Pittsburg and check out the Texas Hot Link Festival. The excitement begins at 10 a.m. and will feature a variety of food, vendors, concerts and events. The festival is commemorating the 100th birthday of Carroll Shelby with several of the day's events themed around the late racing legend. These will include a car show hosted by the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Shelby Automotive Program (starting at 10 a.m.

Softball sweeps series with Navarro College

Weather once again played with the schedule for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Athletics. ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Softball moved the two-game series with Navarro College to Tuesday, April 25th to get ahead of the rains. The Eagles took game one 8-5 and game two 5-3 to earn the sweep against the Bulldogs.

Foundation raises $244,730 on East Texas Giving Day

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation finished East Texas Giving Day at the top of the leaderboard for the second year in a row this Tuesday. ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ raised a whopping $244,730 via the annual fundraising event that has become a regional tradition.

In addition to raising the most money, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ also finished with the highest number of donations at 208. Nita May, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Director of Development and event organizer, said that these numbers reflect the enthusiasm and effort put forth by ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ employees, students and community members.

Pickleball tourney rescheduled for April 30th

EVENT RESCHEDULED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER:

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Baptist Student Ministry will host a FREE pickleball tournament on Sunday, April 30th at 2 p.m. at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ tennis courts. All students, faculty, staff and their immediate family members are welcome to participate. Come for food, fun and a chance to compete for $500 in cash prizes!
