Officials from Texas A&M University-Texarkana and ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ met on the campus of A&M-Texarkana September 4thto sign a Memorandum of Agreement, a Dual Admissions Agreement, and a Financial Aid Consortium Agreement between the two partners in higher education. The agreements between the two institutions facilitate easier transitioning between the two schools and allows them to share resources, saving money and making the enrollment process more efficient for students.

The United States Army Field Band will present "Sacred Spaces - A Grand Canyon Celebration" at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts on Monday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free, but please reserve seats by calling the box office at 903-434-8181.

Join us in Celebrating Multicultural and Career Awareness Week at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Campus from September 23-27, 2019, as we unite in shaping our community!

Week-long celebrations will be taking place in many areas throughout the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus. Some of the festivities happening throughout the week include:

Scarecrow

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Ag Club is inviting student organizations to show off their creativity by creating a scarecrow for the scarecrow trail the club is constructing on the college farm.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ continuing education department will offer license to carry courses on September 28, October 19, and November 16. These classes are held on Saturdays from 8-4 on the main campus. If you need more information or if you would like to register for this course, please call 903-434-8134 or email  continuinged@ntcc.edu.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Honors Program is pleased to announce its Honors Students for the 2019-2020 school year. This includes nine Presidential Scholars and 10 Honors Scholars.

Jacob Lambie, a student at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, is one of 10 students nationwide selected to receive the 2019 Pearson Scholarship for Higher Education, a $5,000 award.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation recently received a $1,000 donation from Sid and Amy Walker (center) of Bryan-College Station. The gift will benefit ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s one-of-a-kind Work4College Program, which allows students to spend their summer learning a strong work ethic, serving their community and earning money to pay for college.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is currently enrolling students for the Fall 2nd 8-Week session, which begins Oct. 21. These classes are a great way to catch up or get ahead by picking up an extra class.
