If you are looking for something for the kids to do this summer, now is the time to sign up for the upcoming Kids Discovery College and the Northeast Elite Softball Camp hosted by the ��«����Ƶ Continuing Education department. 

Each spring for the last decade, ��«����Ƶ’s McGraw-Hill Poster contest has allowed community members and college leaders to test what might be called the “Mozart Hypothesis.” 

The ��«����Ƶ Eagles Soccer coaches will host a soccer camp for youth ages 5-12 July 1 and 2. 

Alpha Mu Chi, the ��«����Ƶ Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, recently hosted its Spring induction ceremony in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Speakers at the event included Dr. Ron Clinton, ��«����Ƶ President, and Jacob Lambie, incoming Texas Regional District III Vice-President for Phi Theta Kappa and ��«����Ƶ student.

The ��«����Ƶ Board of Trustees met for their regular April meeting on Tuesday, April 30. The meeting started off by honoring four retiring employees and acknowledging the outstanding accomplishments of three campus student groups.

The ��«����Ƶ Eagle Softball (14-28, 9-17) team hosted the Tyler Junior College Apaches (47-7, 22-2), ranked fifth in the latest NJCAA poll, for the final home stand of the 2019 season on Saturday. ��«����Ƶ lost game one 9-2 and again came up short in game two 6-4.

The ��«����Ƶ Eagles (14-26, 9-15) softball team dropped both games in a doubleheader against  the Angelina College Roadrunners (31-7, 16-4) on Friday. Angelina took game one 2-1 and game two 3-2.  

��«����Ƶ softball (14-24, 9-13) swept the Trinity Valley Cardinals (20-19, 9-13) in a doubleheader this week. The Eagles won the first game 11-1 and then game two 4-1. ​�ċ�ċ�ċ�ċ�ċ�ċ

After sweeping Paris Junior College (22-25, 7-16) in a doubleheader last Saturday, the Dragons came back to defeat the ��«����Ƶ baseball team (15-24, 8-15) 5-1 on Monday.
