Save the date! The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Theatre department is pleased to invite everyone to the upcoming Spring production. It’s an evening of short plays and will be held at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Performance dates are April 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30 pm with an additional matinee on Saturday, April 23 at 2:30 pm.
The performance in total will be about an hour and is for audiences of all ages (over 6 years old, please).

Sophomore Israel Perez has set a new first for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ recently, publishing in the Texas Handbook, an online resource, and the most utilized source for Texas history ever created. The articles in the Handbook must go through a professional review process, and are usually crafted by professional historians. In some cases, amateur historians and graduate students also contribute.

The last weekend of spring break, 10 ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ (ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ) students traveled to Emporia, Kansas to attend the 47th Annual Art Therapy Discovery Day at Emporia State University. This event was an opportunity to attend a professional conference, meet and talk to faculty and graduate students, and form lasting friendships with other ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ students.
Time is running out to get tickets for the first annual ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Rodeo alumni dinner and team fundraiser! The event will be held Saturday, April 9 at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Arena Becky & Buddy McCollum Events Center & Pavilion.
It will feature live music and dancing, silent auction, live auction, meet and greet with the current team, and catered barbecue dinner.
Dr. Kathy Eubanks has been chosen as the recipient of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s 2022 Adjunct Faculty Member of the year. This award is given by the Faculty Senate to award teaching excellence and in recognition of the adjunct faculty member’s education, talents, dedication and experience.
