EMS offering new shift-based paramedic course

Are you a working EMT interested in becoming a certified Paramedic? ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ is offering a convenient hybrid shift-based Paramedic Course (DSHS # 617988).

β€œThere is a serious shortage of paramedics in our area and ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ is hoping to help fill that gap. We know it is difficult for practicing EMTs to continue their education due to shift work schedules. This program is designed specifically with them in mind,” Russell VanBibber, ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ EMS Faculty, said.

Theatre Northeast to present Christmas play December 2-4

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Theatre Program will present A 1940s Christmas Carol, written and directed by Page Petrucka, December 2-4. The play will be performed at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Show time is 7:30 p.m. each night with an additional Saturday matinee on December 4 at 2:30 pm. 

The play is about an hour long, family friendly, and a wonderful way to usher in the holiday season.

Everyone deserves a chance to get a college education.  ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ feels so strongly about this that they are offering the First Class On Us scholarship to any new student who wants to take a class in the Spring 2022 semester. 

This offer for one free credit class is available to anyone who lives in Camp, Morris or Titus county who has never taken a course at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅. It’s that simple.

Michael Martin Murphey's Cowboy Christmas comes to Whatley Center

Michael Martin Murphey will perform his beloved Cowboy Christmas show at The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ on Monday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. 

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students. Seats can be purchased online at  or by calling the box office at 903-434-8181. The show, sponsored by Cypress Bank, is included in season ticket packages.

Registration is currently underway for December Intersession and Spring 2022. Students are encouraged to register early to get their desired time/format for the courses they need. Visit to see what is being offered!
