Are you a working EMT interested in becoming a certified Paramedic? ��«����Ƶ is offering a convenient hybrid shift-based Paramedic Course (DSHS # 617988).

“There is a serious shortage of paramedics in our area and ��«����Ƶ is hoping to help fill that gap. We know it is difficult for practicing EMTs to continue their education due to shift work schedules. This program is designed specifically with them in mind,” Russell VanBibber, ��«����Ƶ EMS Faculty, said.  

The Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at ��«����Ƶ added two “new” Mustangs to its stable this week. On Monday they took delivery of a pair of 1968 Shelbys donated by Barry Smith of  in Blair County, Pennsylvania. Though both the same model year and convertibles, one is a (white) and the other a (black).

The ��«����Ƶ Theatre Program will present A 1940s Christmas Carol, written and directed by Page Petrucka, December 2-4. The play will be performed at the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. Show time is 7:30 p.m. each night with an additional Saturday matinee on December 4 at 2:30 pm. 

The play is about an hour long, family friendly, and a wonderful way to usher in the holiday season. 

Everyone deserves a chance to get a college education.  ��«����Ƶ feels so strongly about this that they are offering the First Class On Us scholarship to any new student who wants to take a class in the Spring 2022 semester. 

This offer for one free credit class is available to anyone who lives in Camp, Morris or Titus county who has never taken a course at ��«����Ƶ. It’s that simple. 

��«����Ƶ revived the print edition of its schedule for the Spring 2022 semester. The publication was recently mailed to all households in Camp, Morris and Titus counties. If you haven't received yours yet or don't live in the district, please check it out at the link below.

Michael Martin Murphey will perform his beloved Cowboy Christmas show at The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ��«����Ƶ on Monday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. 

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students. Seats can be purchased online at  or by calling the box office at 903-434-8181. The show, sponsored by Cypress Bank, is included in season ticket packages. 

��«����Ƶ will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 24-26 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Offices will be open regular business hours on Monday and Tuesday, so that is a great time to stop by to register for classes.

Regular hours and classes will resume on Monday, Nov. 29. 

Registration is currently underway for December Intersession and Spring 2022. Students are encouraged to register early to get their desired time/format for the courses they need. Visit to see what is being offered!
