Aaron Shelby (left), is pictured presenting the check to Dr. Jonathan McCullough, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Executive Vice President for Advancement, at the Barrett-Jackson auction event held in Scottsdale, Arizona last week. The funds will be used to support ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s Carroll Shelby Automotive Program.

Students of Honors Northeast took yet another festive day trip to the Dallas metro last Friday, 28 January. With the help of donors to Honors Northeast, especially Drs. Jim and Paula Archer, the group enjoyed many special experiences.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Rodeo is pleased to announce our first annual Rodeo alumni dinner and team fundraiser April 9, 2022 at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Arena Becky & Buddy McCollum Events Center & Pavilion.
In case of bad weather, ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s decision to close or not will usually be made by 6 a.m. for day classes and by 3 p.m. for evening classes. If the campus is closed or classes cancelled, the official notice will be sent out via the campus Eagle Alert system* (see below) and a message will be posted on the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ homepage ().

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Women’s Soccer athlete and student Athletic Trainer Zoe Craven has been named this week’s Longview Orthopaedic Clinic Athlete of the Week.
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 25. In addition to action items, Dr. Ron Clinton, President, gave a report on the Community College Finance Commission.
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Art Department is pleased to announce that one of its graduates, Diedra Long Camp, will present the February art exhibit in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.
Camp is a watercolor and mixed media artist with a passion for telling a story and connecting to people. She was introduced to the healing qualities of art while caring for her late husband in his battle with cancer. When he passed in 2009, art became a source of healing and a past time while raising her (then) eight-year-old son, Cade.

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Softball will kickoff the home games for the Spring 2022 season on Wednesday, February 2 against Cisco Junior College at 12:00pm in a double header. Head Coach Joshua Freeman returns for his sophomore season as Head Coach of the Eagle Softball program and will look to make waves in Conference play to earn a spot in the post season.
