The «Ƶ Health Sciences division recently hosted a pinning ceremony to celebrate students completing coursework in Vocational Nursing. Twelve students completed the program and are now eligible to sit for state boards to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). «Ƶ («Ƶ) will host a job fair on Tuesday, September 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building (SUB) on the main «Ƶ campus. The event is free to the public. Hiring managers and other representatives from†local and regional employers will be in attendance.†Prospective employees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes to distribute to potential employers. Booth space is still available for businesses.

Christine Houser, MPhil, MD, and the new Chair of the Division of Natural Sciences and professor of biology and psychology, comes to the «Ƶ campus from Europe. She most recently worked as a researcher for the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh, Scotland and as a professor of psychology at Webster University Leiden campus, The Netherlands.

The «Ƶ Agriculture Department will host a Dutch Oven Cooking Workshop Friday, Sept. 25. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Elizabeth Hoggatt Whatley Ag Pavilion†(located across FM 1735 from the main «Ƶ campus).
