The Cast of Beatlemania to perform at Whatley Center
β β β The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ will take concertgoers back to a groovier time as it hosts The Cast of Beatlemania on Saturday, Nov. 10.
β β β The Cast of Beatlemania is one of the most popular Beatles tribute bands out there. Their show covers the entire span of The Beatles' legendary career. From the early hits like "Twist and Shout" to later ones like "Let It Be," The Cast of Beatlemania will revisit them all ? including costume styles.
Mike Craig Ford donates truck to ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Shelby Automotive Program
Mike Craig Ford in Gilmer recently donated the 2012 Ford F-250 4x4 pictured above to the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Department at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅. This is the second truck that the dealership has donated to the program.
Northeast Police Academy to hold day, evening programs

The Northeast Police Academy at ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ will offer both day and evening academy options beginning in early 2013. Both programs will be held in the state-of-the-art criminal justice facility on the main ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ campus.
The 17-week daytime fast-track academy will begin on January 14. Courses meet from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Priefert team wins ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Golf Classic
The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ Foundation recently held its annual golf tournament at the Mount Pleasant Country Club. This was the 25thβ consecutive year of the tournament. Gold sponsors for the event were AEP-Swepco, American National Bank, Capps Insurance, Guaranty Bond Bank, Luminant, Northeast Texas Credit Union and Scrubbies Wash USA. Silver sponsors were EDH Electric, Texas Heritage National Bank, Big Tex, Elliott Motors and Redfearn Real Estate.
Psi Beta inducts 11 new members
ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ recently inducted 11 new members into Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for students at two-year colleges.

The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ 23rd annual rodeo wrapped up Saturday afternoon at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Arena. The ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ women?s team took second place and the men finished fourth.
ΊωΒ«ΝήΚΣΖ΅ athletes were up against around 300 competitors from other colleges and universities in the Southern Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA)
Wacey Hathcock won the saddle bronc riding and Slatyr Hunnicut finished third in the same event.
