Free GED/ESL courses offered

The Adult Education Department at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at various locations throughout the area. All students must in enroll in an orientation session before beginning classes. See schedule/contact information below:

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 12 to assist students with registration for the Spring 2013 semester. Students will have the opportunity to meet with academic advisors, access computers to register online, make payments and receive help with financial aid.




The College Store will also be open during this time to allow students to purchase books and other supplies.

Housing Move-In Dates

Fall 2012 Academic Honors

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is pleased to recognize students who excelled academically in Fall 2012. To be named to the Academic Honors list, a student must have taken 12 or more hours and earned at least a 3.5 grade point average. To be named to the Special Academic Merit List, a student must have taken between seven and 11 hours and earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year†from the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ family!



ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 19 to Tuesday, Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Years holidays. Administrative offices will resume regular business hours on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Online applications and registration for spring 2013 classes will continue online during the closure at . Classes begin January 14.

Carroll Shelby Foundation gives $25,000 for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ scholarships

The Carroll Shelby Foundation recently gave $25,000 to the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation. These funds will provide scholarships to students enrolled in the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Department. Cypress Bank supports The Campaign for the Whatley



Cypress Bank recently presented the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Foundation with a check for $2,500. This gift, part of a total pledge of $5,000, was given in support of The Campaign for the Whatley - a community effort to revitalize the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. TRMC Auxiliary gives allied health scholarships

The Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Auxiliary recently donated $4,500, which will provide six $750 scholarships to benefit students at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ majoring in an allied health field.
