First day of class changed to Aug. 27

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ announced Tuesday that the fall semester has been pushed back to begin on Monday, August 27. The schedule originally stated that classes begin on August 20.

The decision to move the date back one week was made in order to ensure consistency with the start dates of local school districts and other colleges.

The due date for fall payments has also been pushed back one week to August 17. Please make arrangements to take care of your accounts by this date to avoid being dropped from classes.

Nursing students lend a hand, gain experience in Guatemala

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ welcomes Rene McCracken as Director of Agriculture

ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ has a new face on campus this month as Rene McCracken began her role as the new Director of Agriculture.



McCracken has worked in agriculture for more than 20 years in various capacities. Most recently, she served as an Extension Agent in Cherokee County for Prairie View A&M University. In this role, she focused heavily on small farm education.

Jessica Keith named new head softball coach

† † †The Eagles Athletic Department at ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ recently announced that Jessica Keith has been hired as the new head softball coach.



† † †Keith is no stranger to ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, as she played third base for the Eagles in 1998 and 1999. She has been the head coach at Ranger College for the past nine years and served as an assistant for two years prior.
