Texas A&M University-Texarkana at ��«����Ƶ is hosting a PLACE event on April 18^th in Humanities 101 beginning at 12:20 p.m. Dr. Yells, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at A&M-Texarkana will be presenting on “The Neurobiology of Sex and Gender.”  Free pizza and soft drinks will be served on a first come first serve basis.  We hope to see you there!

The ��«����Ƶ Eagles baseball team (10-18, 5-10) closed out the first round of conference play last Sunday at home with a doubleheader against the Navarro College Bulldogs (19-13, 11-4). The Eagles lost game one but pulled off the split after picking up the win in game two. 

The ��«����Ƶ Adult Education Department had a great time last week as they hosted the first annual Adult Education's Got Talent Spring Fling Talent Show. Congratulations to our winners: (1st) Nancy Chavelas Arredondo, (2nd) Kimbrianna Lipsey, and (3rd) Carla Flores who won cash prizes for their performances.

The ��«����Ƶ Eagles baseball team (9-17 season, 4-9 conference) traveled to Corsicana for a conference battle against the Navarro College Bulldogs Thursday (18-12 season, 10-3 conference).

The ��«����Ƶ Eagles Softball team (8-16 season, 3-5 conference) took on the Navarro College Lady Bulldogs (17-14 season, 4-4 conference) on Wednesday in a home conference matchup.

The eleventh annual McGraw-Hill Poster Contest is set for Friday, May 3rd at 9:30 a.m. in the foyer of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ��«����Ƶ. This contest recognizes and rewards creative student scholarship in Northeast Texas. Area high school seniors, college and university students are welcome to compete.

��«����Ƶ will host a Road to College event Saturday, April 20 from 8-12 in the SUB.
