��«����Ƶ's Alpha Mu Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa will host an exciting Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre event on Tuesday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center foyer. 

The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at ��«����Ƶ will host a concert by Forever Motown on Friday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. This is a full stage production of your favorite hit songs from all the Motown Legends.  

Direct from New York, the show stars Theo Peoples, Former Lead Singer of The Temptations and The Four Tops, Glenn Leonard, former Lead Singer of The Temptations and Traci Robinson former lead singer of The Marvelettes with an All-Star live band.

Alpha Mu Chi, a chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society at ��«����Ƶ, recently completed a yearlong Honors in Action project.  “Finally Free: Folklore Becomes Legacy” is half-hour documentary featuring the voices, stories, and legacies of our African American community members.   The documentary can be found at .

The ��«����Ƶ Foundation recently received a $5,000 gift from Gateway Bronco. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for students in ��«����Ƶ’s Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program. ��«����Ƶ Softball had their season home opener on Monday against North Central Texas College. NCTC would take down the Eagles in both games on a windy day at Eagle Field at ��«����Ƶ.

��«����Ƶ Baseball kicked off the 2022 spring season with a double header against Grayson College on the ��«����Ƶ Campus on Monday. ��«����Ƶ and Grayson would split the series with the Eagles taking game one 5-3 and Grayson winning the second game 9-2.

After outstanding performances in the fall semester, Bekah Contreras (left), and Hope Kelly have entered the ranks of Honors Northeast, ��«����Ƶ’s Honors Program.

Jessie Parchman, a Presidential Honors Scholar at ��«����Ƶ and a Chapel Hill high school senior, became the first person from this region to attend the Public Leadership Education Network Conference (PLEN).  Jessie also serves as a chapter officer for ��«����Ƶ’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Alpha Mu Chi.

The ��«����Ƶ Career and Transfer Team will host a FAFSA Day event on Wednesday, Feb. 16. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in BT 111B. Staff will be available to assist students with completing their FAFSA application, so please bring parent(s) and student 2020 W2s and tax returns.
